THE LADY PIRATES OF CAPTAIN BREE

Templeton Middle School Drama

Templeton Middle School Drama is BACK with The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree — a swashbuckling musical adventure across the seven seas that is bursting with heart, comedy, and pure chaos! When the defenseless Kayla May ship sets sail upon the seven seas, they are attacked by the fearless lady pirates in search of a legendary treasure. But when a perilous threat arises, the passengers and pirates put their differences aside to defeat the British and fight for their freedom.

Grab your crew, batten down the hatches, and prepare for an unforgettable night of musical theatre!

The Templeton Performing Arts Center is proud to host the Main Street Dance Company Showcase! This exciting performance highlights the incredible talent, dedication, and artistry of Main Street’s dancers, promising an evening audiences are sure to enjoy.

Important Details for Families of Soloists:
While the main performance begins at 5:00 pm, a special pre-show featuring soloists will take place at 4:00 pm. A single ticket grants access to both performances, so once you arrive for the 4:00 pm pre-show, you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the full showcase at 5:00 pm. No additional tickets or fees are required.

Class Act Dance

Join us for an inspiring afternoon of dance at the Paso Robles Dance Collective (PRDC) Showcase!

PRDC is the pre-professional performing company of Class Act Dance, made up of dedicated young dancers who are passionate about growing in both artistry and technique. This special showcase highlights the hard work and talent of our 2025/26 company dancers as they take the stage to share what they have been creating throughout the season.

All proceeds from this event directly support the 2026/27 season of PRDC dancers, helping fund future training, performance opportunities, choreography, costumes, and competition experiences.

Thank you for supporting the next generation of dancers and helping us continue this meaningful program for years to come.

AUDITIONS: MR. TOAD IN NEW YORK

TPAC Playhouse

Interested in joining the cast of Mr. Toad in New York? This two-week TPAC Playhouse theatre camp intensive gives local youth the chance to build skills, grow in confidence, and perform for our community. Ride along with Mr. Toad as he drives his friends from the countryside to buzzing New York City during the Roaring Twenties, in a new adaptation of Wind in the Willows inspired by Cole Porter, The Great Gatsby, and Disneyland’s enchanting Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.

Auditions will be held Thursday, April 30th from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at the Templeton Performing Arts Center, with callbacks on Monday, May 4th. Rehearsals run June 15th – 26th (10:00 am – 4:00 pm), with performances June 27th & 28th. If cast, there is a $300 production fee.

Alice in Wonderland

Class Act Dance

This special end-of-season performance features our ballet students in a whimsical retelling of the beloved story Alice in Wonderland. From curious characters to imaginative scenes, this recital is a celebration of the hard work and growth our dancers have shown throughout the season.

This added contribution will go directly toward our 2026/27 Scholarship Program, helping support students and families in need of financial assistance for the upcoming season. The Paso Robles High School Music Department returns to the Templeton Performing Arts Center for The Big Spring Show, an exciting, high-energy concert celebrating the incredible talent of its student musicians!

This special evening features performances by Forte (Advanced Choir), the Crimson Collective Singers, and the PRHS Jazz and Concert Bands, showcasing a wide range of music from powerful choral works to dynamic instrumental selections.

The highlight of the night is a thrilling combined performance of O Fortuna, bringing choir and band together for a bold, unforgettable finale that fills the theater with sound and energy.

Through our non-profit (sister) organization, the Templeton Performing Arts Center Foundation, we have been able to bring a number of improvements and enhancements to our venue.  

 

State-of-the-art upgrades — including new LED CYC lights, advanced LED moving lights, a professional-grade light console, a cutting-edge sound board, a new Clear-Com system, a new greenroom stage monitoring system, and a digital audio snake — would not be possible without the generous support of the Foundation and donors.
