James Garner's Tribute to Johnny Cash
All Over Again Productions
After two sold-out performances at the TPAC, James Garner and his band return for a third appearance, bringing the legendary music of Johnny Cash back to our stage for one night only.
For nearly 20 years and more than 700 professional performances, Garner has captured the sound and spirit of the Man in Black for audiences across the country. His acclaimed tribute has been featured on PBS and performed at both Folsom and San Quentin Prisons, including a special concert at Folsom State Prison commemorating the 40th anniversary of Cash’s groundbreaking 1968 live album.
Audiences will hear favorites including “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Ring of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” “A Boy Named Sue,” and more, performed with the distinctive sound and rhythm that made Johnny Cash an American music icon.
But this is more than a concert. Garner is also a captivating storyteller, sharing stories and insights into Cash’s life, music, and enduring legacy throughout the performance. His own connection to the music began at age 12 and eventually led to seeing Johnny Cash live and meeting the Man in Black backstage.
Following two sold-out appearances in Templeton, James Garner’s Tribute to Johnny Cash returns to the TPAC for another evening celebrating the music and legacy of one of America’s most beloved performers.

CINDERELLA
Panto USA - Presented by TPAC Playhouse
TPAC Playhouse is excited to welcome professional touring company Panto USA to the TPAC for a special production of Cinderella! Created with younger audiences in mind, this family-friendly professional production brings the timeless fairy tale to life with music, comedy, colorful characters, and plenty of fun.
Unlike TPAC Playhouse’s locally produced youth productions, Cinderella features the professional touring performers of Panto USA, bringing a new kind of theatrical experience to the TPAC Playhouse stage.
Bullied by her two mean stepsisters, Cinderella’s future looks bleak until her Fairy Godmother casts a magical spell and sends her to the ball. There, Cinderella meets the Prince, but when midnight arrives, she must quickly flee, leaving behind a single glass slipper.
How will the Prince ever find her?
Touring theaters across the country, Panto USA brings the beloved story of Cinderella to life with professional performers, original modern songs, plenty of hilarity, and, of course, a happy ending!
Designed especially for younger audiences, Cinderella is a fun-filled introduction to live theatre and a magical experience for the entire family.

SCRIPTLESS IN SEATTLE
Scriptless in Seattle LLC - Presented by the TPAC
No script. No two shows alike. Scriptless in Seattle brings a fast-paced night of completely unscripted comedy to the Templeton Performing Arts Center!
With a style reminiscent of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Scriptless in Seattle has toured throughout the United States and Europe, creating an entirely new show every time the performers take the stage.
Using suggestions from the audience, the professional improv troupe creates scenes, characters, improvised music, freestyle rap, film noir-inspired stories, and more, all made up in the room. The audience helps shape what happens next, and some audience members may even find themselves joining the performers on stage to become part of the show.
Because everything is created live, no two performances are ever the same. The performers don't know exactly what will happen, the audience doesn't know what will happen, and that's all part of the fun.
Family-friendly without being just for kids, Scriptless in Seattle is a night of live comedy for teens, adults, families, and anyone who loves to laugh.
OUR FOUNDATION & FUTURE

Through our non-profit (sister) organization, the Templeton Performing Arts Center Foundation, we have been able to bring a number of improvements and enhancements to our venue.
State-of-the-art upgrades — including new LED CYC lights, advanced LED moving lights, a professional-grade light console, a cutting-edge sound board, a new Clear-Com system, a new greenroom stage monitoring system, and a digital audio snake — would not be possible without the generous support of the Foundation and donors.
Visit our Foundation website for more information about its role and commitment to securing additional funding for the Performing Arts Center's continuous growth and potential to be one of the premiere theatrical venues in all of San Luis Obispo county.
